Bravo Records is the first Georgian musical business company, which has been regularly organizing Wine and Jazz events in Georgia since 2015 in Kvareli Eden hotel. On October 7, another concert from these series was held. This time a well-known Dutch singer Edsilia Rombley and her Sweet Soul Music Band gave an unforgettable concert to jazz and soul lovers.
Edsilia Rombley is a renowned Dutch singer who works in classical soul and jazz music genres. In 1998 and 2007 she represented Netherlands at the Eurovision Contest and took the fourth place in 1998, the highest in Netherlands’ Eurovision history. Edsilia has published 6 author’s albums, which has brought great recognition to her in Netherlands and internationally. Her performance is distinguished with strong vocal and artistism, and therefore her concerts always are met with full house. She often performs in different countries of the world.
In 2015, the hotel Kvareli Eden, together with the music business company Bravo Records laid the foundation to the musical event – Jazz and Wine. The first musical evening was dedicated to the opening of the Kvareli Eden wine factory, which was accompanied by the concert given by famous American jazzman Frank McComb’s trio. Then there were concerts of the popular Cuban singer Yanela Brooks and her band, and of theTrio of the legendary Brazilian musician Tania Maria.
Before the start of the concert, the guests had a unique opportunity to participate in the ethnographic activities characteristic to the Kakheti region (e.g. grape picking, chacha distillation, churchkhela dipping, Georgian bread baking, etc.)
