Band Eldrine will publish their first CD album that is dedicated to the Afghanistan ISAF mission participants – Georgia’s and other countries’ soldiers. Now, album’s studio recordings and working on the design are in progress at Bravo Records. Album will be presented as a concert in the assembly hall of Tbilisi State University, on the 5th of July.
Band Eldrine was created in the beginning of 2010. They first performed at Altervision NEWCOMERS festival in 2010 which was successful. In 2011 group took singer Sopho Toroshelidze as their vocalist. The same year group performed and won the internal selective competition of Eurovision-2011 and in Germany at Eurovision-2011 took a ninth place among 43 countries’ musicians. In a few months after Eurovision, Batumi hosted Enrique Iglesias’s grand concert MTV live Georgia, and Eldrine performed at the concert’s warm-up.
Eldrine is distinguished in the Georgian music industry by the social subjects of songs, high performing style and exquisite repertoire. This album- Till the End – is their first CD album and is dedicated to the anti-terrorism subject. The compositions in the album are group members’ long-time thought-out and work. It includes 12 music compositions in English. The authors of the songs’ music and lyrics are group members themselves. During working on the album, they constantly met Afghanistan war veterans and after consults and conversations with them, they created a repertoire for their first album.
In the nearest future group’s outdoor tour in Afghanistan is being planned, where they present the stated album as a concert, before ISAF mission participants- Georgia’s and other countries’ soldiers. With this conjoint project Bravo Records and Eldrine express a great respect to every young soldier who pay their military debt by realizing a security mission in Afghanistan.
