Sandro Maziashvili was born in Tbilisi. From an early age, while studying in the 6th German gymnasium, he participated in the Martve ensemble and successfully completed the 7th year of music school.

His interest in music started from childhood, so in the early 1990s and 2000s, he created a band with his friends and played alternative music. With the time and technological progress, Sandro became interested in sound processing and recording technologies, which irrevocably defined his profession in the future.

After graduating from the Faculty of “Economic Informatics” at  Tbilisi State University, he was actively involved in the study of sound directing and related technologies.

At the same time, he founded the sound recording studio “Studio8”. The main activity of the studio was music recording and dubbing of films for television. The latter was considered quite a novelty at that time.

Working in the field of music and TV-audio and deepening his knowledge through trainings in this direction in the United States led Sandro to work in many television and media companies auch as “Mze” TV company, “Internews” company, “NewArtVideo” studio, “Solo Studio” and so on. Along with this, he participated in the filming of many national and international movies in sound recording and its further processing, which is now called Field Recording and Post Production. Along with his interest in film sound, Sandro has also been actively involved in music. As a sound director, he collaborated with a number of famous groups such as “33a”, “ReggaeOn”, “Chveneburebi”, “AstroGeorgia”. He has been working at the Artgen festival for many years and acts as its organizer and sound director.

For years, he was a member and sound director of the group “Zumbaland”. The group has successfully conducted numerous European tours and participated in a number of international festivals. Along with this, in 2011, they recorded the album “Multitest” in the city of Vilnius, Lithuania, with Sandro as the sound director.

Nowadays, Sandro works in the music company “Bravo Records”; he is the sound director of the film dubbing department. Together with our studio group, he creates a quality and sophisticated product for Georgian cinemas and televisions.
